ABOUT DR. DANUSHKODI:

Dr. Danushkodi was raised in India and attended Thanjavur Medical College, there she completed her residency in Physiatry and Internal Medicine at Maryland General Hospital in Baltimore in 1999. In 2002, she completed a residency in Rehabilitative Medicine and served as chief resident at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois 

Dr. Kala Danushkodi specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Dr. Danushkodi diagnoses and treats muscular, skeletal and neurological disorders. She administers trigger point and joint injections, as well as Botox injections for pain management and muscle spasms. She performs EMG testing, which is used to record the electrical activity of muscles; detecting abnormal electrical activity of muscle that can occur in diseases such a muscular dystrophy and conditions such as pinched nerves.

Dr. Danushkodi is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as the American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She also serves as Medical Director of North Kansas City Hospital Rehab.

In her spare time, Dr. Danushkodi enjoys reading, music, and playing tennis with her son
